President’s Scholarship At UTS In Australia For International Students 2017-2019

Apply for 2017 - 2019 admissions and UTS President’s Scholarship for full-time research master and research doctoral programmes at the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia. The scholarship is for international students with high demonstration of research tendencies and excellent academic performance.

Application Deadlines
The deadline for admission and scholarships are;
  • 20 August 2017 for programs starting in January to March 2018.
  • 31 March 2018 for programs starting in July to August 2018.
  •  30 June 2018 for programs staring in March 2019.

Research masters and PhD programs at the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must be;
  • categorized as an overseas student according to the Higher Education Support Act 2003
  • a Bachelor Degree  holder with First Class Honours, or be regarded by the University as having an equivalent level of attainment in accordance with clause (c) have completed a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours, or be regarded by the University as having an equivalent level of attainment in accordance with clause
  • and (d) where applicants do not hold a Bachelor degree with First Class Honours in clause (c) above, the University may determine that the applicant has demonstrated an equivalent level of academic attainment. In determining an equivalent level of academic attainment, the University may consider previous study, relevant work experience, research publications, referees’ reports and other research experience; and
  • be undertaking a higher degree by research (HDR) at the University in the year of the UTSP (UTSPs are not available to applicants whose enrolment into a postgraduate research program has not been accepted by the University); and
  • without  an Australian Government-funded postgraduate research scholarship previously unless it was terminated within six months of the scholarship’s payments commencing

Admission Requirement
To apply for admision at the University of Technology, Sydney in Australia, the following requirements must be fulfilled.
  • No entrance test is required   
  •  Applicants are expected to have completed a Bchelor degree with first class honours, or be considered by the University as having an equivalent level.
  • Candidates applying from outside the home country will have to meet certain English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study at UTS.
  • Certificates that were not in English Language must be translated to English
  • Candidates from India and China need to Notarise their certificates. 
  • academic transcript, include certified copies of your academic records
  • English language proficiency, include a certified copy of your English test score if available
  • details of exclusion (or possible exclusions) from a course on academic or other grounds
  • details of disability or ongoing medical condition that will require you to seek special assistance from the University attach a medical statement from a registered doctor
  • provide a statement of employment from current and all previous employers to substantiate the professional experience you have outlined in your CV
