Application for scholarship is open to help international first year students who want to start their bachelors degree programmes at Canterbury University, UC in New Zealand. Applicants who are interested in applying for the UC international First Year Scholarship must have applied for admission in the University before the closing date (i.e 15 August 2016).

● Applicants must be full paying international students and not necessarily New Zealand or Australia citizens or holders of New Zealand residence permit visas.
● Applicants must apply for admission at UC first before applying for scholarships.
● Applicants must have completed or about to complete university entrance qualification exams qualifying such student for University admission.
● Students who applied for transfer of credit from a New Zealand Institution to an undergraduate degree program in UC or those who already undertake a partial undergraduate program in a New Zealand institutiin may not be qualified for the scholarship.
