Scholarships For Developing Countries Students in Germany: 2017/2018

Apply for your postgraduate (Master's or PhD) degree in Germany and  study with scholarship. DAAD scholarship to support more than a 100,000 postgraduate students from underdeveloped countries in the 2017/2018 academic year is out.

Duration
Between one and three years.

Starting Dates
April and September

Application Deadline

Scholarship
The scholarship will cover;
■ monthly payment of 750€ for Master's students
■ monthly payment of 1000€ for PhD students
■ Travel allowance
■ Health insurance; including
(accident and personal liability)

Eligibility
To be eligible, apart from being a citizen of one of the above mentioned countries, applicants must have;
■ completed a degree not more than 6 years ago.
■ have atleast 2 years professional experience.
■ fulfil neceasary admission requirements.
■ be fully motivated.

Language of Learning
Most of the courses in German Universities are taught in English. Some are taught in German or other Languages.

Requirements
■ No test is required.
■ filled application form.
■ CV (to be signed with hand).
■ Motivation letter ( indicating present occupation and must be hand-signed).
■ Research exposé (depending on the institution).
■ Letter(s) of recommendation from your previous Institution (which must contain recent date, signature and office stamp and should not to be put in a sealed envelope).
■ Letter of recommendation from employer (which must contain recent date, signature and office stamp and should not to be put in a sealed envelope).
■ Confirmation of employment and assurance of re-employment after your study (if required).
■ Degree Certificates (copies).
■ Academic transcripts (copies).
■ High School or School Leaving Certificate (copy).
■ Proof of English ( ielts/toefl).
